Carol:  Actually... I'd like one of each.  I used to own a canoe many, many moons ago.  Used to go canoeing amoungst the covered bridges on the Grand River in far eastern Ohio.  Thanks for sharing...

Carol, I used to go on canoes in upstate New York when my Aunt lived there and we'd go to see her.  I haven't been on a Kayak...considering I can't swim and they tip, I'm not at all sure I'd want to :)

Karen Anne - They actually looked quite welcoming in the early morning light.  But I don't do either one - these old arthritic bones don't let me bend low enough to get in them!

Carole - I haven't been in either one in many years.  Arthritis has a way of altering your abilities to fold, spindle and mutilate in order to get in one.  LOL
