Gwenn,

Nice color in your sunset picture. Really like capturing sunsets - and on the water is a plus. :)

Hello My AR Friends: Glad you enjoyed the pic - It was taken just after the ice went out! The Lake is ready to come alive after the long winter:)

Hi Charles - Yes it freezes solid - It is an entire different animal in the winter months.

Gwenn - great shot!  I like the intertubes hanging on the pier.  Are those for wading in?

LOL - Donne: I grew up in California and am smiling big right now, as this is something I would have thought before I landed in Wisconsin..... The lakes freeze in winter . . . imagine that! The piers are portable and removed prior to freeze - I think the tubes - tires actually are bumpers for fishng boats......

Gwenn - Ok, I'm laughing now too.  Shows you what I know about midwest lakes.  Fishing boat bumpers?  Hmmmmm.
