For those Realtors who Supported OBAMA, You are Next!

Well, I want to write this article to those Realtors who still have an ounce of common sense left. Our government is officially out of control and none of you seem to really care. Here is the latest doosie that Obama is proposing (and I told all of you that it was coming), here is his proposal to not just reign in the financial sector executive pay, he wants to do it to all sectors. Here is the Article: Government Control of Executive Pay

What is going to stop the government from saying that we make too much money as Realtors and so they will cap our compensation or determine what percentage commission we can charge? I have had about as much as I can take of the Obama madness at this point. Here is a snippet of the article:

"Democrats on the House Financial Services Committee said Thursday the administration's efforts to hector the private sector into reining in executive pay might not go far enough.

The administration contends that excessive compensation contributed to the U.S. financial crisis, but rejects direct intervention in corporate pay decisions.

Instead, the administration plans to seek legislation that would try to rein in compensation at publicly traded companies through nonbinding shareholder votes and less management influence on pay decisions.

"I do differ with the administration in that hope springs eternal and their position seems to be that if we strengthen the compensation committees we will do better," said the committee chairman, Rep. Barney Frank, a Democrat."

When will enough be enough for you? This president is running our country into bankruptcy with his reckless spending and destruction of private institutions in America. Do any of you think it is fair that instead of letting GM go bankrupt and then have to make adjustments, that the government came in and bought them and now is running the company. What does that mean for the private sector companies like Ford, Chrysler, Toyota and Honda? THIS IS COMPLETE INSANITY!!

Your indifference to this type of government intervention will cost you the quality of life that you enjoy today. Get ready for the government to tell you what you can and cannot do when they control health care. If you don't think they will put coverage limitations on those who smoke or are obese, think again. They do it in Europe! In Europe if you are too old, you can't get a hip replacement because they determine your quality of life and the cost of the surgery is not worth the benefit.

I apologize for the Rant, but it is time for all of us to break out of this trance and start raising our voices to curb some of the government insanity. While there is still time.

Sincerely,

Concerned Citizen Steven

One world leader!!! One world government! I thought  congress would actually get better but they, as you have well pointed out go over the deep end.

No need to apologize for the truth. I also have been wondering how long it will be until this administration decides Realtors are paid too much, especially since the housing market is such a significant part of the economic woes.

Well gentleman, I am glad the 2 of you care. It appears that very few Realtors give a Rip in general. Well, they will care when it is to late. Shame on them.

Steve,

If you think the problem merely resides with one political party my friend, you are mistaken.  There are very few of them capable of running this country.  We were founded by enterprising individuals with dreams of making this country something great.

Career politicians are about a useless as tits on a bore.  Give me a guy like Jack Welsh or anyone else who has proved they can run a business and let them have at it.

I particularly liked Mitt Romney's suggestion of handing the shares the companies the government owned in GM back to the public and let them be the stewards of how the company should be run.

Brian, Well put. There are many politicians on both sides that are the problem. The full spectrum of power rests on the Dem side and that is why I hold them culpable for the decisions they are forcing on us now. They are very much a problem in this country.

Steve,

They may be the ones wrecking things now but republicans had already had their turn.  Bottom line is there's really not one of them that can claim they've mad this country better than they found it in years.  Probably not since the Regan years.

Hi Steve:

I can't believe you would question the initiatives of "THE ONE", as Oprah refers to him.  "Change" is coming just a little too fast to suit me.

Tom, that is too funny. "THE ONE", the media does view in a god like fashion, so that makes sense.
