Utilize Facebook Ads to get LEADS (and very targeted leads)

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with RealSupport Inc.

So, by now we all know about Facebook.  You may also know about the Ads on Facebook, but have you placed an ad in an attempt to get targeted leads?  It is easier than you think!

The cool thing about placing an ad on Facebook is that you can target your ad to only be displayed to Facebook users that fit a very specific target market.

For example, are you targeting Empty Nesters?  You can target your ad to Facebook users in that age group and specific to your city/town.

First time home buyers?  Even better, you can target by age (guessing most people are 25-35), city, and you can even target engaged couples.  Now that is specific!!

Having a seminar of some kind?  You can target your ad to only display to Facebook users in the city/town that your seminar will be held.

You can target by gender, age, location (right down to the town), education, workplace, and by keywords that they may have in their profile.

After you create your ad and set-up your targeting, you will see how many people currently using Facebook fit your target.  You can then select your daily budget and time period to run the ad.

I would enjoy hearing your experiences with Facebook ads.

I would really like to hear about the results of this type of advertising, from someone who has used it.

This is interesting.  At this point we use Facebook, MySpace, etc. simply for SEO and not targeted marketing...might be something worth considering.  Thanks!

I'm interested in the results as well.  I've been considering this for a long time.  I just wrote a long detailed post and then mistyped the graphic word so perhaps I'll get movitated later to type it all out again.  sigh

Hi David & Jon,

Here are the results from one client that we are working with. We started his campaign on February 25, 2009.  He has a daily budget of $25/day.  Thus far he has spent $239 (for almost 3.5 months).   250 people clicked on his ad.  So, the results, of the 250 people that clicked on his ad, he has managed to meet 2 of those people face to face.  He is not currently showing them property (they are buyers and they indicated they will be ready to look in a month or so) but he feel confident when they are ready, they will call him.  (I should also mention that they will be added to his newsletter list, etc so that they will be "touched" by him so they always have his information).

So, 2 solid leads for $250?  Sounds good... but will sound even better if/when he can close a sale for them both in the near future.

Hope this helps!!!  I think this is a legitimate place to get leads... Try it out, you can always stop it at any time and you can also indicate your daily budget as little as $1 per day.
