2009 Port Aransas Hurricane Guide

PORT ARANSAS, Texas - The Corpus Christi Caller Times published the 2009 Hurricane Guide for residents and visitors along the Texas Coast.

The guide contains lots of good information:

A map with evacuation routes for the greater Corpus Christi area
Information to help create a hurricane plan in advance of a storm
Items to include in your hurricane kit
Instructions on how to properly cover windows and doors
Details on insurance coverage

Let's hope we don't have a storm this year, but it is always wise to be prepared. This guide provides a good overview on hurricane preparation and can be viewed here.

Hurricanes are not fun but that's a nice little tool kit to keep you safe & prepared for anything!

Kristin...you are right. Ike and Dolly were bad enough for Texas...here's hoping for a quiet hurricane season this year. KM

Keith you are way to organized for me. However, we need rain so badly we may need a "small" hurricane to change the landscape up here in the hill country. Stop by our Hang Out sometime and give us an update on what's happening. We started this after the Spurs games ended. We put up a new one each month. Look for June's hangout.
