First we broke into the Hitwise top 20 list of real estate sites:
This has been a long time coming! And it's great that we're able to do it being in only 7 metro areas (Seattle, Bay Area, LA, DC, Chicago, Boston, NY). Once we expand to few more cities (Atlanta, Portland, Phoenix,...) there is no stopping us :).
And then we were nominated for Inman's Innovator Awards as the "Most innovative brokerage or franchise." While they don't specify what we were nominated for, I believe that the most ground breaking thing we've done in the last year is publish the surveys we send to every client, whether they close with us on a deal or not, to our site. For instance here's Jim Holt's profile page where you can read all of the 148 reviews he's received while he's been working at Redfin.
This week we also published our "Redfin by the Numbers" blog posts where we post how many tours we did, number of offers we worked on, and a few other stats.
The most amazing thing was that of the 163 who responded to our survey's in May, all 163 would recommend Redfin to a friend.
The other good news was that we have some of the top buyers agents in our markets:
- Boston: Hannah is the #3 agent in Eastern Mass.
- Chicago: Both Greg and Mark are in the top 3% of agents who did deals.
- DC: Fernando and Marshall are the #5 and #8 agents
- Seattle: We have 4 of the top 5 spots
We're still figuring out how to do this for California since there are so many MLSes involved... (We can't wait for CARETS).
