Wake Forest NC - Farmers Market and Get Up An Go! June 13

Every Saturday we are graced with a WONDERFUL Farmer's Market full of fresh fruits and vegetables, homemade jams and jellies and local crafts in Historic Downtown Wake Forest! It is a fantastic time to get out, enjoy the weather and a cup of delicious coffee from the Wake Forest Coffee Company!

Wake Forest NC Farmers Market This Saturday, June 13, Get Up and Go in conjuction with the Wake Forest Downtown Reviltalization Corporation will host a Farmer's Market Walk! The group will meet up at the Wake Forest Public Library at 10:15am for a leisurely stroll to the Farmer's Market. Be sure to take totes or a backpack so you have a place to carry all of the goodies that you pick up at the Farmer's Market and from other local merchants along the way!

Get Up and Go was started as a way to showcase local events and places to visit by encouraging people to "get out" and walk! What a fantastic idea! Wake Forest NC is loaded with local history and sites to see!

sounds like a great thing to get together for. Hope you go and have a good time!

Tony - I don't think I'll make it to the walk since I have a few appts BUT the Farmers Market is fantastic and I am sure the walk will get even more people to attend!

We all need to support our local farmers and shop locally to avoid the cost of transporting items all across the country.

Terry - Farmer's Market are the best places to spend your money locally to support the local economy. We have some great farms in this area and the produce at the markets? Outstanding!
