Why Beautiful Kitchens Help Sell Homes

Kitchens are like magnets; they simply have this way of drawing everyone in and are viewed by many as the heart-of-the-home. Buyers know and understand that they'll be spending a great deal of time in the kitchen and therefore, pay close attention to this particular room. As a seller, it's important to further engage the buyer by creating a space that welcomes them.

Here's a before and after picture of a home we staged this week in Atlanta. Oh, and the comment from the homeowner: "I should have done this 10 months ago."

Here's the after picture: By design, we simplified the amount of accessories used. My objective is to compliment what the builder has created and not to overwhelm the space.

Kathy ~ this is a beautiful kitchen, and staged perfectly. Your photos are stunning as always. (Hey....is that a bite or a bruise in one of those apples? LOL)

I love fruit in a kitchen photo! You had a great "before" to work with, but what a difference the placement of color made. Great job!

Hi Kathy...long time, no hear...my fault, my apologies. This kitchen's strongly marked granite can be overwhelming in such quantity. Your visually breaking it up with punches of organic green worked perfectly to relieve the eye as it moves around the room. You always do this so well. Great job!

I love the green apples too. I use them quite often as they just say "fresh and vibrant" in a kitchen. Beautiful work, no wonder the homeowner said they should have done it 10 months ago.

I too believe that the kitchen is the Heart-of-the-Home. Gorgeous Staging in the kitchen from the beautiful colors to just the right accessories. I really like the accessories you used in the glass kitchen cabinets as well.
