Hi Ann, I love day lillies. I used to have them at my house in the city, and had several of the dark red ones, but never had the beautiful pink like in your photo 1 and 3 - I think those are especially pretty.

My grandmother used to buy all kinds of exotic varieties......I remember going with her when I was little to pick them out. These are some that have been divided and transplanted to my parent's garden.

Anne...they are just gorgeous. I especially love the peach and yellows.

Day lillies are all so pretty and bloom all summer. Grandma has a green thumb!

Ann, thanks for sharing these lovely lilies. The peach yellow is my favorite.

Day lilies are almost weeds out here because they are drought-tolerant and grow like, well, weeds. They are used median plants since they can take the car exhaust and wind from cars passing by. I love them because they bloom year-round here.

Ann - I absolutely adore Day Lilies. I have a half dozen Stargazer Lilies with a total of about 30 buds on them right now. I espect them to begin popping into blossom in the next few days. . .I can't wait. Those are wonderful pictures Ann. . .I like Russel's yellow ones too.

Now my daylillies are just orange! Your's are really rich!
