I posted this on my Facebook this morning and while I should be embarassed, I hope it gives someone a good laugh
- I told my husband he had to go on his morning walk earlier than normal - - chop chop, up and attem!
- I made my kids get out of bed early once their dad returned from his walk
- Everyone showered, dressed and ready to go to brunch
- My husband drops us off at the door at the restaurant while he parks the car because the "line will be long for sure" (restaurant is inside casino - we are in vegas, remember)
- There's no line - no crowds - nothing
My girlfriend calls during brunch:
I SAID: "we are at brunch for Father's Day"
SHE SAID: "why are at lunch for Flag Day - you never celebrated it when you lived here!"
I SAID: "Father's Day, not Flag Day"
SHE SAID: "BJ, Father's day is on the 21st!"
