Wake Forest NC - The Polar Ice House - Kids Night Out!

Let the Kids have Their Night Out, Too!

The 3rd Friday of Every Month The Polar Ice House welcomes kids ages 3 - 12 for an evening fill with ice skating, games and dinner! The Polar Ice House is a top notch skating facility located in The Factory.

Where: The Polar Ice House at The Factory (1829-200 South Main Street)

When: 3rd Friday of Every Month

What Time: 6pm-9pm

Cost: $15.00 per child (ages 5-12) and $5 per sibling (ages 3-4)

Now this sounds like loads of fun! I wonder if I could pass for 12? I'm told I act like a child at times.

Leesa, I just don't associate ice skating with North Carolina, but I guess that would make a hot day that much more fun...and different for the kids.

Leesa--I followed you here from a comment you left on my recent post and I am glad I did. The Ice House reminds me of many hockey games that my grandson played in. Outside the weather was hot & humid, but inside it felt like an igloo in northern Canada. He has since developed other interests. Thanks for the memory jog.

Carol - Come on over - we could certainly give it a try!

Steve - DUH! Carolina Hurricanes!!!!!! ;) Actually, The Polar Ice House is VERY busy and a ton of fun! THey teach figure skating and ice hockey along with just fun times public skating.

Mary - My son actually went there Saturday for a birthday party - it was wonderful inside!!! It's a great place.

Leesa - we have an ice house in Wilmington for skating and my daughter used to go every Friday night.. Kids love skating. It s a great thing....Enjoy it....

Kathy - Indoor Skates places are a great escape in the summer! This one has great instructors for ice hockey, figure skating, etc. Thanks for the compliment on the header.
