If you have been hiding in a cave for the last several months, you may have missed all the excitement in Statesville. There are so many wonderful activities going on, it is hard to choose what you want to attend. I say........attend the all! Do you love music? Then you have alot of options this summer. Come on downtown and check out the tunes at the second Fret. There is always something going on just about every night. Tuesday is Karaoke with ponytail Bob and this weekend you can enjoy "positively Bob Dylan" in the music room. If you love to sing, try out the open mic on Saturday afternoon.
Friday, June 26th is the third installment of the Friday After Five Concert series in downtown Statesville from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. This Concert features the Mediorce Bad Guys and promises to be a fun toe tapping time. Don't miss it!
Thursday, June 11 kicked off the start of the Downtown evening Farmers Market in Pecan Park from 4 to 6:30. Pick out fresh produce from local residents and taste the homemade jams and jellies. Shop for handmade crafts and this week, enjoy free cake and tea! See you there!
