USRES and RES.net

By
Real Estate Agent with John L Scott Real Estate 200405254

I average one to two BPO's with other companies a day and I will only do A usres bpo if I have time and it is in an area that I know. The company tells many people that if you do 15 free bpo's you will get 1 listing in exchange.  I have exceed there 15:1 ratio and still haven't recieved a listing.

In the same way I think if I have time doing these BPO's I will know more about the market than just a part time agent or even a full time agent that isn't doing well.

In closing it's up to you to decide do I want to know more about my market and area and take a couple of hours to do one free bpo or do I want to just want to wait by the phone waiting for the next call to come in?

I have gotten 3 listings from USRES but I had to pay $250.00 with res.net before I could get the listings... Start emailing the people that assigned you the BPO'S and tell them you want some listings.. That's what I did, I kept bugging them and I got the listings.

Hope that helps, Coni

I've done about 25 BPOs for USRES and have gotten 3 listings as a result.  It's just a numbers game. I delegate most of my BPO admin work to employees, so it doesn't cost me more than a few minutes with each BPO.

Thank you for the comments.  I will be talking with there customer service today about res.net.  Coni and Rob have you heard of WEbster bank and if so do you work with them or know who their asset company is?

I do work with Res.net due to another 3rd party company that just started using them as well.  I have a friend who has done plenty of work for USRES and just got her first listing, the catch..its occupied, a Chase foreclosure and Chase does not process foreclosures right now.  She's stuck waiting for the occupants (a police officer) to vacate.  While I was on vacation, I had them accept and then demand their BPO's when I never even exepted them needless to say haven't had the time to do work for them yet.  Good luck and keep us updated.

I actually have yet to receive 1 BPO request from USRES.  I'm very active with other companies but for whatever reason I get nothing from them.

75 bpos and a few listings. When I started doing bpos they promised a listing for every 7-8 bpos.  They're long on promises and short on performance. I don't think they have enough listings to go around.  Be careful or you may feel a bit used at the end of the day.

For those of you who may have gotta some listings from ResNet, what kind of work needed to be done to get the listing ready?  Did you bank ask you to find people to clean up or winterize?

Well I don't think it has anything to do with res.net except that is the system they use.  Its the bank that have the requirements (not all are the same).  If that bank's policy is to have you find the vendors for the preservation... they will let you know.  Some listings you get on res.net do require this and some don't.

Adam,

I am curious how it went with RES.net when you asked about listings.
