Liz,   doing all this in Chilliwack is fine, but what about blogging, calling your great friends for a laugh or two?  Ok, I guess sitting on the bench downtown and people watching in the rain is fun too.

I love those penny candy stores. I take my son to one in Cedarburg. I give him a $5 and he thinks he is in Utopia. These shops look like a blast, and I would think one would have to come back many times again to see what they missed the first time.

This looks like a place where I could spend a long time browsing, and probably empty the cash in my wallet.

Hi Liz!  I just love places like this!  When we go to Pawley's Island in the summer, there is a shopping complex much like this and I prefer to go there--alone!  I just get lost in looking at all of the unusual things, sample the desserts and just stroll through the shops at leisure.  That's the only time all year I actually do that and it is SO refreshing!

GREAT Localism post Liz.

Liz--I remember penny candy.  There were even a few options 2 for 1 cent.  That brings back memories.  Thanks.  Like Debe I have been to Pawley's Island and probably shopped at the same complex.  Guess I will have to visit her blog site.  See you again.

Liz,

At first I thought you had photos of houses I have been inspecting. That is too familiar.
