Background
We recently performed a test to see just how many videos a newly posted property video in three languages would receive in the first 24 hour period.
Link to property video: http://www.vidlisting.com/player/videopage.asp?vid=jhdalkddfs&t=v. (English). This video is one of the first properties filmed under our recently announced exclusive provider agreement with ACOBIR which is the real estate association in Panama.
Due to SIMA participation during the day and a train and bus ride, we have been only able to connect to the internet at approx. the same time each evening (Spain time) so we had no idea of the results.
Results
Results: 212 total video views in the first 24 hours for the newly posted Las Cumbres property located in the Rep. of Panama. Breakdown is as follows:
Spanish language views: 99 English: 59 Portuguese: 54
We are about as transparent as can be with our stats; they are out there for everyone to see (good or bad) and we track just about everything on our site. Actually, this level of viewing is about par for our normal viewing on property videos during the first 24 hours. As all three videos for this property were posted within minutes of each other, this will also be a good datapoint for comparison with U.S. properties that we will start posting on vidlisting.com in the coming weeks as well as other properties in other locations. Obviously, now that YouTube videos are playable in line with search results, we will also go back and recheck YouTube performance for the first 2 weeks and compare it with the 16 video view average for the first two weeks that we obtained before (http://activerain.com/blogsview/92074/YouTube-Is-Not-A)
Our real estate video roadshow starts this August on the East Coast of the US. We will show you how to get results like these as well. More info: http://activerain.com/blogsview/94198/Learn-More-About-Real
