HELLO ERICA! Sometimes I get a block and these are great tips to get past it! Thanks for sharing! -- Gabrielle
I have never not known what to write about. I actually have about 20 posts drafted out ready to go. My plan is to write once a week about our town (since we're a heavy relocation area, this is important for my customers), once a week about Buying a home, once a week about Real Estate in general (market moves, definitions of real estate terms, etc), once a week I put in photos of our area and once a week is whatever I feel like ranting about.
If I'm in a class (where I'm usually bored stiff), I write a bunch of blog posts on Microsoft Word and have them ready to go!
Erica - I don't know about you but life presents all sort of opportunities to us to blog ... everyday!
Hi Erica!
I find the best way to come up with blogging ideas, is to go through your email and find questions your clients have asked you. Chances are you will find something to spark an idea from there.

Hi Erica - This is so true for me as well. Problem is now when I am sitting quietly observing a situation my husband says "you thinking of a blog idea?" Most times I am! :D
Erica - True that. In our business, there's a plethora of stuff to write about every day... especially in this atmosphere.
Erica - Usually something happens that sticks with me, and I feel I should write about it. A few I started, but changed my mind, though.
Erica - Ideas for content is not my problem. I keep a spreadsheet of bright ideas, and it prints out to several pages. Taking the time to write, now, that's my struggle.
Some of you just have the easiest time finding relevant topics to write about. Not me. The reason? Every time something comes up that seems fit to write about - I find that it has already been done. While I know we all bring our own perspective to things, I still feel that whatever I put out there needs to be as unique as possible. You seem to manage that with ease :)
I got a laugh out of Wendy's comment. I've had QUITE a few blog posts that I deleted before it went on line. NEVER hit the 'post' button until the heat of the moment has passed!
Yes, me too! I've saved a few posts and then went back and deleted them after I read them through again.
