19 Comments on My My My .. There Is A New Guy At The Track!
As they said in Harry Met Sally ..."I'll Have Some of What She's Having."....Mmmmm sounds like you don't need the running to bring up your heart rate...
Isn't the eye-candy nice to look at every once in awhile. They usually do grab a first attention look!
HAHA - What a great post! I love those my, my, my moments. In seriousness - you are right though, first impressions and all of those that follow are SO important!
Not sure what to say....better get to work on my wow factor! First impressions do matter.
I think nice friendly helpful people always stand out from the crowd. I also admire all the people who are up early working out with you.
Sounds like the new guy has elevated your game. Enjoy your mornings at the track.
I was breathing a little hard after the third 6 minute mile, and it took forever to get my hair to lie right this morning (bed head you know), and the running shorts were causing a wedgie every now and then. I'm glad I ran at the high school this morning on my way through Tucson!!!
Well, I hope you get the my my my factor the way you want it. I think I lost mine with age and a few pounds.
First impressions do mean a great deal to people. I just closed on a bank owned property with private money. I informed the buyers we will order the appraisal once the house has been cleaned, pool filled, appliances in the house, and landscaping completed. Why? I want the appraiser to say WOW this is a nice house.
Now get back to work and sell real estate. Thanks
Well, is beefcake all you women every think about, after all, we men have feelings too! As for the My, My, My factor, I make it a habit to great everyone with a smile, and an open mind. I even treat the people for who I have the least time with the same smile, it drives them crazy!

GOOD MORNING ED! Treating everyone the same is great - that will definitely get them remembering you! As for beefcake - nahh - it was just nice to see something different at the track! Enjoy your day! -- Gab
GOOD MORNING HARRY! Great stuff - that is the way it needs to be done! I know I know -- I'm back on track. With work I mean! Ha ha ha! -- Gab
GOOD MORNING GABE! I think we all have - that's what made seeing something different at the track fun - focusing on the personality impression is where it's at these days! You're humor posts show that you have it! -- Gab
GOOD MORNING DAN! I love it! -- Gab
GOOD MORNING JOHN! Sure does get me out of rut of "same ole same ole"! -- Enjoy your day! - Gabrielle
GOOD MORNING DAN! I agree. What's really great is to see beyond the way someone looks and appreciate who they are too! Nice to see you here again! -- Gab
GOOD MORNING GARY! You probably don't have much work to do on it! -- Gab
GOOD MORNING LEESA! I agree - it's just fun sometimes to have something "fun" happen! -- Gab
GOOD MORNING DONNA! Yeah - it's been a while at the track - we usually don't get those types that early in the morning! -- Gab
GOOD MORNING SALLY! Nope. Even little 80 year old Lois said, "My My My"! It was very cute! -- Gab
Being friendly, open and personable spreads the wow factor to others around you, it's contagious!
Gabrielle,
Where is that track? I also have a daughter!!! LOL Great motivation! Have fun!
Judy
Gab, Half the fun and motivation of working out is looking at the other bodies in all the stages of repair. I just look at them with admiration. All these people are trying to improve themselves. Welcome the newbies so they keep coming...
What a great post! I like the "My My My". I believe everyone should receive the same about of respect-no matter what they look like. But sometimes, it is definitely easier to said than done. Good luck on your running.
HELLO XINH! I agree! But it sure is fun to look folks like the new track guy! Thanks for the comment -- Gabrielle
HELLO PAUL! What a great comment! There is a girl that, from time to time, comes to the track. I know it took a lot of hard work to get in the shape she's in - I admire that because I am sure - she doesn't eat chocolate like I do! As for the rest of us, I applaud everyone who comes to the track early in the morning - that's half the battle right there! Enjoy your night! -- Gab
HELLO JUDY! I love it! -- Gab
HELLO SARA! I agree with you - it's easy to just be nice isn't it?! Nice to have your input -- Gabrielle
Gabrielle - only you could find an inspirational thought at the same time you're drooling ;-) I can always count on you to put a positive spark in the day!
Gabrielle: I love this blog! Absolutely delightful and yet provocative, and a great discussion starter. I love the concept of the "My My My" factor... its not just about the way someone looks - but rather the overall way someone carries themselves."
This is now featured on the Optimist Group. Great job, Gabrielle!
I am flagging it for an AR Feature.
Lovely!
