Hi again!  I've put together a graph to show the rapid price increases we have seen in the last 60 days in the Edmonton real estate market.  (Note: the June stats are all based on data up to Jun 15, 2009) From the SFD graph it appears as if we hit the lowest price for single family in February of 2009. This falls into line with the continual shrinking of the months of inventory in the Edmonton area.

Jason -

Glad to see things are improving in the Edmonton area!  It seems like Phoenix is finally starting to level out, but I don't think we will gain any time soon.  Makes me wish I had more liquid funds to add to my real estate portfolio!

Hi Sharon, thanks for the post.   If our Canadian dollar continues to strengthen, you may see more Canucks buying in your area.  Oil prices keep on creeping up and have been aiding this rebirth in our prices. Good selling!
