Eric - I only wish there would be some deep fried Snickers bars or mini-donuts!  All the food vendors are local businesses or organizations so there will be plenty of fried dough, funnel cakes and strawberry shortcake heaping with whipped cream along with some other great foods and desserts.

Anthony - It's like a big homecoming and one of the hightlights of the year in Branford.

Diego - That would be wonderful.  I'm sure you will enjoy it immensely.

Jeff - You can bet on it that I'll be there!!  Our office is one of the sponsors of the road race and helps out with the registrations for the race early Sunday morning and then we have the RE/MAX balloon and a water station set up in front of our office as we are at the last leg of the race.  We have a blast!!!

Ann - I hope we have great weather too!  If today is any indication (pouring rain) it doesn't look good and the forecast is reporting a chance of rain over the weekend.

George - There are so many different kinds of food to buy you don't know what to eat first!  I did ask Dan when I saw him a couple of weeks ago if he was running and he didn't think so because he was preparing for a bigger race the following week.

Liz - I wish you lived closer too!  We'd have a great time together!!! :)

Ryan - I'm hoping the weather holds up too.  Last year I think it poured on Saturday night which is the biggest night when there is a big name band that plays.  This year was supposed to be the Marshall Tucker band but they unfortunately had to cancel due to the untimely death of the wife of Dan Gray who is the lead singer and one of the original band members. I'll be taking lots of pictures of the road race if the weather holds out.
