I'm Raising Money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society - Please Donate!

Hello friends! I have undertaken a new challenge and I need your support. I have become a participant of Team in Training, and, therefore, am raising funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).

As a participant of Team in Training, I am training to run a half marathon, which is no easy feat. And, while I work hard preparing for the race, I am also working hard to increase awareness for LLS. The money raised goes directly to LLS in hopes of one day finding a cure for the blood cancers that take so many lives.

I know that times are tight, but even just a $10 donation will go such a long way. Here is a link to my Web site where you can securely give a donation online. This is my personal Web site for this cause, and I will happily draft a blog post with links to any corporation (or person, just let me know what you want me to say about you) that gives a donation of any size.

Each donation helps accelerate finding a cure for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. More than 823,000 Americans are battling these blood cancers. I am hoping that my participation in Team In Training will help bring them hope and support.

On behalf of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, thank you very much for your support. I greatly appreciate your generosity.

P.S. I would appreciate it if you would forward this email to as many people as you can to encourage them to donate as well. Thanks again.

Good for you!  My husband had leukemia, and we are active with the society.  i haven't undertaken doing the TIT stuff yet, since I don't have the strength to do a marathon yet.   I would also donate, but we are donating to ourselves this year to have a baby, since leukemia has forced us to have IVF and every penny goes towards that.  I wish you luck though, and hope that you raise a lot of money for them!
