Jobs Peak looking her best. Many people think that Nevada is all desert and sagebrush. There are many beautiful agricultural valleys like our that offer some wide open green spaces!

The majestic Sierra Nevada Mountains run the border between California and Northern Nevada and provide a stunning backdrop for our northern Nevada Communities!

Beautiful photo Lisa - I must admit that I was guilty of the "all desert" thinking until I went to the Lake Tahoe area.Some of the most beautiful country I have seen. I will have to visit the north.

Hi Lisa, when I lived in CA I went to the Lake Tahoe/Reno area a few times. Did not get around as much I wished, but the little that I did see impressed me.

Sharon and Greg - Heavenly valley Ski Resort is 13 miles from my house! We can see the runs from our back yard! We are that close to Lake Tahoe!

I used to live in Tahoe. We used to drive to Reno from there and the scenery looks similar. What I used to love was the way you could see the shadows of the clouds on the planes. There are always too many trees here (NY) to have the same effect.
