Umm... After studying this for a minute, I still can't figure out what in the world it is a picture of!  Maybe a few words, for clarification?

Lisa,

You've got me on this one.  I don't have a clue what this could be.  Give us a hint!

DING! Susie guessed it.  =)  It's a manatee. It loved to drink fresh water from the water hose. It would always come right up to the side of the boat when my husband was rinsing it off, after coming in from the ocean  =D

Sally- If you have 50 words, you get 200 points. (I know. I don't have to tell you that.) Most bloggers are getting their 50 words in their footer. But I hate not having some kind of intro. I'm not saying what's in the photo, which was (in my understanding) the most important part of the "wordless" photo. I'm just afraid it will confuse the public if all they see is a photo, and no words at all. So I have a slight intro, and a link to the post where I explained why there's no description of the photo. But I want people to know I'm a REALTOR®, and where I am. If the official Wordless Wednesday "group" kicks the post, then I'm OK with that. I'm fine with not describing the photo, but I'm not OK with causing confusion for my clients. Just the comments here show that there was confusion, since they couldn't tell that this was a manatee... Just my opinion. If I do it without any words, I'll have to mark it Members Only. And I don't want to deprive the public of it.

That's bizzare!  I've never seen them.  I didn't know they were so friendly, and thirsty too!  Now I know.

Georgina- They're known as Gentle Giants. That's why there are so many No Wake zones in the rivers now, that weren't there 20 years ago. When I was a kid I used to ski up and down the St. John's River. But now it's almost all a No Wake zone, because the manatees were getting injured and/or killed by the boat propellers. Manatee swim very close to the surface, and they move slowly, so they can't get out of the way fast enough.

I think you've given me an idea for a blog post  =)
