Good Morning Everyone,

Just trying to get ready to get to the office when we were talking with our daughter on Skype. Thought it would be a good idea to tell you about Skype. If you haven't heard of Skype you have to give it a try.

We are not experts at all the things you can do but for about $36/yr we can communicate anywhere in North America for free. You can even talk and see via video.

Skype to Skype is free anywhere. The video and sound is really good. Go to Skype.com

Al & Peggy, I agree that skype.com is the best! I've never paid a dime for it, and can talk to anyone with a video & microphone on the internet, anywhere in the world!!!

Al & Peggy, I LOVE skype. It has been wonderful for my father, while recovering in another city, to be able to interact with his grandson (my son). My little guy bowls while "Grampy" watches and cheers him on. I know it brings cheer and hope to my father, and love and happiness to my son. SKYPE AWAY EVERYONE! IT IS WONDERFUL!

I have not tried Skype yet, but should I guess. No one I talk to has Skype, and to be honest, I am thinking I don't want the whole video thing, I am thinking about those times I am on the phone in my jammies....

Andrea - Agree about the jammies, we only activate the video when dressed. LOL but, you can use it even if your friends, clients, whoever are not on Skype. It will work skype to land line or cell. We use it alot for our long distance calls. Come on give it a shot, its free and look.......you can talk to Regina, Marney and me!

We tried both Skype and Vonage in our office several years ago. Both were abject failures for us at that time, and Vonage really [insert bad word here] us around. They are on our "never-use-in-this-century-or-the-next" list. Maybe I'll talk to my marketing guru and see if he wants to check out Skype again based on the recommendation of some Canadian friends. And speaking of Canadian friends, did you lose one of yours? If he belongs to you, just tell us his name and any identifying marks, and we'll get him back to you................

Al and Peggy - I had a skype account when I did mortgages, but sort of ignored it since I got into real estate. Perhaps it's time to check it out again, to see how much it has improved, and how I can utilitize it to my benefit. Not only that, but I like the idea of using it with family who don't live nearby.

I took a technolgy class last year and was completely overwhelmed by all the recommendations. A year later, the ones that stuck out the most (like AR) are in my arsenal.
