Robert ... Thanks for the comment here about Newport Beach local market report, which shows that most sales in this beach area are equity and not short listings.

Harrison- thanks for the post on Newport Beach listing and sales activity.  It looks like Newport Beach is similar to other OC areas with low inventory relative to sales volume, but few distressed sales (unlike much of the rest of OC).

Christi ... Thanks for your comment. The difference between Newport Beach homes sales and other OC areas is inventory.  NB has many more homes for sale, with higher asking prices, more equity by owners, and market saturation of a longer time frame.
