Little country, big wallet

Services for Real Estate Pros

For swimmy glowy waters, Aruba is quite a Caribbean gem.  For all the marketing tiny Aruba does to market its destination, you would think it was a huge country.  The country spends upwards to $50 million a year to market its destination which is a big budget for Caribbean nations, as I learned recently during the Caribbean Summit.  But it is just a little larger than Washington DC, as per the Viscape destination description below.

All glowy and swimmy

Located about 15 miles north of the Venezuelan coast, Aruba – which is about the size of the Washington DC – is a flat, riverless island perfect for a quick getaway or an extended sabbatical. Considered an autonomous dependency of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Aruba is actually divided into two regions: the northeast coast – known for its rocky coastline, rough Atlantic seas and treacherous current – and the southwest coast – known for the white sand beaches and warm, teal blue waters.

In shopping for Aruba vacation rentals or sales, it looks like there is no inventory on the Viscape site.  We are inviting all real estate professionals to list your vacation homes on Viscape for free for rent, sale, or swap.

Ah Aruba such a peaceful and friendly Island with almost no natives looking to sell their junk out of their trunks.

Hi husand and I traveled to Aruba 8 years ago, and enjoyed it tremendously.  I didn't realize how small it was...the food was fantastic and I did buy a beautiful emerald and diamond bracelet.
