The amount of foreclosures is no longer doubling in our area of NH which is good news. However people are still losing their homes at a pace close to last year at this time. There seems to be fewer foreclosures the month of April perhaps because of the different programs offered to people who stay in their homes.
Are you finding that first time home buyers are taking advantage of the Tax credit offered in your area? I've been somewhat busier but not dramatically so. I still think that people are waiting to see just what will happen in time before going ahead and buying. I know it's different depending on where you live. I think we have a long way to go yet. What do you think?Everyone is hoping for a quick fix but the damage is a lot bigger than we though and it won't turn around anytime soon i fear.
Time will tell.....as they say....time will tell.
