Capitol One is now Capitol Zero in my book

Today I recieved a call from "Capitol One" from phone number 866-381-0453

The woman caller from Capitol One insisted on talking with my daughter. She called my daughter by her first name and told me it was personal.

I told her that she was calling my under age daughter and I was her father and she again said she needed to talk to her and it was personal.

When I told her to "take me off her call back list" she told me that it was none of my business.

Well I have to say, That will be the day, when my pre-teen daughter is none of my business!

Capitol One is now Capitol Zero in my book

Note: yes, we are on the "do not call list" I just reported them and if you get a call like this, you should too!

I am having my own issue with good old Capital One! As soon as I come up with a solution I will be done with any dealings with them. As a dad of two pre teen girls, Way to go and Happy Fathers Day!

What a response-I have the same problem with telemarketers wanting to speak to me teenage son.

wow that is amazing that they are not targetting teens. I would have blew a gasket on that caller. I have lost all patience for nuisance telemarketers.

No wonder credit card debt is out of whack. Then they wonder why the writeoff is so high!

I had a Cap. One credit card years ago. They made a terrible mistake on my bill and refused to correct it. The wouldn't take a returned merchandise off even with verification from the vendor.

I finally wrote to my Senator who was then Senator Sarbanes, now retired. He wrote a letter to them and they corrected my bill and returned the charges to me.

Needless to say, I cancelled the card.

Capital One received $3.6Billion in TARP money. They have repaid it.

What an idiot telemarketer Charles, telling YOU that it is none of your business about your daughter. I wouldn't necessarily blame the whole bank/credit card company, but just the individual!

I don't have a home phone for this very reason. I put my cell phone number on all my credit applications and so far I've never been contacted by anyone....so far.

Go get em! I still fail to see why we bailed any of these idiots out.

Haven't heard any good comments about the people at Capital One for several years. Wouldn't use them.

holy cow - that was crude, unprofessional and way out of line! It is appalling that they prey on even underage people. Early Happy Father's Day to you!

Good for you on reporting them. There are so many violations in that phone call that I think I lost count. Trying to (A) pass off a sales call as personal? (B) Trying to sell to a minor

I hope your complaint goes somewhere and they are fined big time for it.
