So Many Parks to Visit, It's Hard to Decide

My teenage daughters are ready to visit a couple of theme parks sometime during their Summer vacation.  We have visited all of the Disney Parks: the Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot and Animal Kingdom over the years, multiple times.  My girls favorite is the Magic Kingdom, as the park is filled with rides.  They love Space Mountain, their famous roller coaster.  They also enjoy Thunder Mountain, another roller coaster.  Splash Mountain is a water ride with one big drop.  My favorite of the theme parks is Epcot, as there is so much culture there.

The parks are only 45 minutes away from us, in Orlando, so it's a quick jump in the car and short drive over. In Orlando we can also visit Sea World, Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios, Wet 'n Wild, Aquatica, or Disney's Blizzard Beach and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Wonderworks.

This year we are thinking that we will head over to Tampa, on the west coast of the state, to visit Busch Gardens.  This is just over a 2 hour drive. Busch Gardens has a lot of roller coasters. They are running a special where you pay one admission, and that gives you 2 days in 2 parks. The first day you can go to Busch Gardens and the second day you can visit Tampa's water park, Adventure Island.  We haven't been to either of these parks yet.

We are in such a great central location here in Brevard County, it's hard to decide where to go. And it's great because they're all in our own backyard!

Sandy, there is no doubt from Central Florida to Tampa there are a ton of places to visit and all reasonable commutes from Brevard County. Great photo of all the lovely ladies at the Magic Kingdom.

HI Partricia, Well that's good information to know.  I have heard that the park is really neat, filled with coasters, so I think it will be quite fun.

You should come over to the west coast sometime, Sandy.  Of course, I need to head over to the east coast as well, it seems.  My family loves roller coasters.  We've been to just about everything here in Southern California, including Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Universal Studios, Six Flags Magic Mountain (THE best roller coasters ever) and SeaWorld San Diego.  But, I've never made it to other parks outside California.  This makes me want to go.

Sandy, I loved living on the Space Coast for that very reason... close enough to everything to make it a day trip.  Enjoy your Sunday!

Sandy, What wonderful memories this brought back.  I haven't been to Disney or some of the other parks in quite a few years but I still love them!  You're never too old to see these sights and I know I'll enjoy it when I go back again.

Hi Miss Mary, It sounds like it's going to Busch Garden this time.  It will be fun.

Heather, It sounds like you live in an area full of fun also.  I would love to go to Six Flags. The last time I went was to the one here in Georgia.  It a bit of a drive for us though.

Silvia, We are centrally located to so many fun places.  That's one of the reasons that we really love it here.

Carole, I love to hear that this brought back memories for you.  Disney is one of our favorite destinations. When you buy a place down here you'll be able to visit these parks.

Hi Sandy

There are a lot of great theme parks in Orlando, It's very challenging to decide but it's great to have the choices.

Good luck and success.

Hi Lou, What a great place we live in with so many fun places so close. I think we'll head over to the Tampa area, this time. I haven't been to Busch Gardens in over 20 years.  I won't recognize it, I'm sure.
