Good Morning Debi-I like this it is pretty cool pic. Maybe they don't have the same rules for trains and fire hydrants as they do with cars. <SMILE> Haven't been in the rain since Tues so I am playing catch-up with everyone. I even wrote a blog last night about it. I hope you have had a great week. Enjoy your Sunday. <SMILE>

Hi Debou.....Let me guess, this is NOT a butterfly.  You fooled me....hahahaha.  This is definitely different in an interesting way.  The color framing adds a lot to calm the feel of steel and gray.  It is evocative!!!  Busy intersection, it is in Woodland Park?

Debi - I like the unusual quality privided by having that color square remaining.  The picture gives you a feeling of switching from present to past, and then back again.

Thanks for stopping by Robert!

Hi Sharon, I'll get over to find out what you've up to! Nice to see you - The rules might be the same, the train was moving, so no ticket on that day! ;)  You have a great Sunday, too!

Hey Gail, no this was not WP - it was down in the Springs, shot while waiting for a free concert to begin. I couldn't stay still, had to go off and see what was what!

Hi Myrl, didn't think about it that way, but you're right!

Hi Debra - Thanks! Glad you think so!

Debi,

Completely different picture with the color overlay. What a great technique to make a good picture even better.

Debi - Very cool shot! Thanks for sharing I would not have noticed the hydrant so close to the train otherwise.

Hi Debou! Very cool! I like the shot of color in the black and white! Love those trains, except when they're in the way of traffic! LOL

Debi - Very interesting photo.  I always wanted to capture a train showing the name of each of the cargo it was pulling, somehow I never have a camera.  Thanks for sharing.

Hi there Gerry -  I was feeling a bit creative, so I got into PS and started playing - Glad you liked it!

LOL Mary - yeah, it's a bummer when you're stuck waiting for a train that's two hundred cars long!

Al & Peggy - Yes it has that effect, doesn't it? Kinda fun ;) Thanks for stopping by!

Hey Jim! I knew it needed something - found just the right touch for it. ;)

Hi Jennifer! You know, what I really wanted a shot of was the Barnum and Bailey Circus train, but it had already left :(

The day I first saw it, it was POURING rain, and even tho I had the camera, I couldn't get a shot. Now I have to wait till NEXT year ! LOL

Thanks to you all for having a look!

Debi
