Salt Spring Island real estate tip leave your Mosquito spray at home when you are coming out to Salt Spring Island BC to view homes. In the summer the Gulf islands dry out and we get very few Mosquitoes. Which is nice, my wife is from Saskatchewan and had an old family cabin on a lake, talk about Mosquitoes. We would have to run from the car to the cabin or risk being eaten alive.

The summers are cool and dry it is very similar to the Greece islands here without the heat. The ocean always keeps the temperature just nice. Like I have said before Salt Spring is just great.
