Fran: I feel so very sad for this child. She has obviously been thoroughly coached. Probably much more than coached. With her being a twelve-year old... what has happened to her childhood ? Here she is... talking about "unprotected sex." Talking about her "cervix."

I am listening to her speak as I am writing this. If I were her mother... I would scream at how she is being "used" to push and promote the anti-abortion beliefs of others. And if the mother approved of her daughter being used as a pawn like this... I would really question her mother's methods of raising this child... and even her fitness as being a mother. I think I might even complain to Child Protective Services. I find this appalling. Fran... please don't delete this comment. I would love to see some of the answers to the points I have raised. Thank you...

Whether it was contrived or this young lady felt the need to do this herself she brought up points to ponder and it being U Tube one can choose to turn it off. Thank you for sharing it with us. Best, Sandy

Hi Fran, Very intense 12-year old, I must say--she is certainly on her way to becoming an attorney or something that involves public speaking. I think she did a fabulous job. I know several women that would love to have just ONE of those 116,000 children who were aborted, who have never been able to have a child of their own. Some have adopted and thankfully, those birth mothers saw fit to let their children live so that my friends and the millions of others who cannot conceive on their own, can give those children the lives that they so deserve.

Fran: I am ALMOST speechless! Almost. What an amazing young "Person" this 12 yr old is and what a wonderful WOMAN she is going to become. She said things I didn't even know.... AMAZING! We NEED more of her!

P.S. I, like Debe, know MANY women that would have loved to have been a mother to one of those 116,000 babies who were aborted!!!!

I respect your right to express your opinion even though I think you're way off track....!!! This young lady, coached or not, presents some facts that are indisputable...for example...98% of women who have had an abortion would not recommend them to any of their friends...how do you respond to that...???

I, for one, would be proud to have this young lady for a daughter...!!! Defending the rights of an unborn child is a choice God Himself would admire...!!!

Fran - this young woman certainly can present her position. If she is this passionate about life she will certainly make an impact. On another point, I guess it is only ok to have children as spokespersons for liberal causes.

Fran, and others: My comment was NOT made in any way, shape or form as a comment on the rightness or wrongness of having an abortion. It was simply a commentary on "using" this young woman, actually, this "girl" as a pawn.

Sure... it appears she would make a great attorney... or speaker, or maybe even an actress. I just felt badly that it appeared to me that this was NOT something a twelve-year old would do on her own. Childhood is precious. To take it away from a girl this age, and to turn her into a self-serving tool... was what I saw as being sad.

Mike: No, I disagree. If a young girl like this was being used as a "shill" by liberals to present a case for the right to an abortion... I would complete just as vehemently. If a liberal "used" a girl like this, IMHO it would be equally wrong. Again... my comment is NOT about abortion, not about liberals/conservatives, just about taking childhood away from a twelve-year-old girl. Thanks for listening to what I had to say.

By the way... if I myself would ever personally face being pregnant (not a chance), I would never have an abortion myself. Just wanted to make that clear.

Thanks for the post. Yes, most 12 yr olds are way too young to be dealing with or to have a clear understanding about abortions. But the girl in the video does not seem like the typical 12 yr old. She seems mature and with knowledge beyond her few years. I applaud her for standing up for her beliefs.

Respectfully, you jump to too many conclusions and make far too many judgments...Take the girl at face value, and see her as the prophet of God she is...!!!

There are assertions she makes that need to be addressed by both pro abortion and pro life advocates if we are to get beyond the divisive nature of this topic...and especially among Christians who are supposed to represent and example the 'one body' of Christ...!!!

She is an amazing speaker for the unborn. I have been blessed to have adopted two beautiful boys from the Marshall Islands. Abortion tugs at my heart as well. All those babies who someone would have loved to call their own. I pray it makes a difference for just one person.
