I am a sucker for gagets and will stop to check them all out.  You won't want to go with me to the new product show at the state fair because I can spend the entire day there checking out "stuff", most of which may never work or live up to their intended use.

Previously I've purchased covers for my cell phone or camera that protects the lense or screen, most of which peeled off, scratched and basically did not do any good.  A few weeks ago I purchased the neatest gadget that has (thus far) protected my Blackberry cell phone from scratching.  It was being sold and applied in a kiosk at a local mall.

It's a product called invisibleShield.

InvisibleShield is a clear urethane plastic that is abrasion resistant.  I had it wrapped around my entire Blackberry, including the screen, front, back, edges, corners and sides.

The process is rather simple but takes a little time and patience.  The sales person cleans the cell phone thoroughly, then carefully applies the polymer coat over the LCD face of the phone without leaving any air pockets. The invisibleShield is clear and adhered rather quickly.  Once dried, it was so hard that I tried to scrape the back cover and there was no evidence of any marks.

According to the warranty, it will not scatch and has a lifetime replacement guarantee.

The right corner of my Blackberry has taken the majority of the abuse for my constant dropping.

While having the invisibleShield wrapped around my cell phone, other people were having their iPods, laptops, digital cameras and even watches covered.  I should have been handing out my business cards, it was the perfect opportunity that I missed.  I paid about $35 for my Blackberry.

InvisibleShield's website adddress is www.zagg.com  If you purchase it on the internet, you can watch a video that will show you how to install it.

After five weeks, my Blackberry still does not have any scratches on the screen or back cover.

Jim, the kiosk was in Arrowhead Mall near the Bath & Body Works on the ground level. I was showing a couple other agents in my office today and they were amazed that it would not scratch.

Larry, lets go shopping! :)

I'm keeping my eye open for these guys!  My poor I-Phone gets so much abuse!  Last night, I found the dog prancing across the livingroom with my phone in his mouth.  Maybe this stuff tastes bad, too!

Patricia, I would hope that it tastes bad since you will have even more problems if it tastes good.

Is the lifetime replacement on the phone or the shield?  ;-)  I think it would be a greater service if THEY put it on the phone for me!  Was that your hubby doing the application? :-)

See my post today My Blackberry went for a swim!

Bridget, I don't think that it is totally water proof since the movable parts are not sealed.

My last cell phone died in a cup of coffee.  I replaced it with a Blackberry Curve.

My Treo is cracked! scratched! and generally miserable. I need to replace it with an Iphone- When my dog tries to eat my cell phone, rather than chase him, I call my phone. At least I laugh as he immediately drops the phone when it starts to ring in his mouth. Not sure whether it is worse to leave the phone in his mouth or watch him drop it -... just kidding!

Leolinda - This is some great gossip and we were going to do this business over two years ago, skin covers for cell phones, computer covers and other gadgets. the machine that did the covering cost around $15,000 dollars and we changed our mind.

Robert, I love my Blackberry now since I don't have to be overly protective of the screen.  Thank you for the featured position.

Don't have enough cash to buy a car? Worry no more, just because it's available to take the credit loans to solve such kind of problems. Hence take a collateral loan to buy everything you require.
