Help! I need a new broker website!

Managing Real Estate Broker with Full Circle Property Management

Got any ideas to help me? I am using Advanced Access and I am tired of the poor service, slow emails, and constant nondelivery of promises and returned calls.

I am really tired of paying for crap, so if you know of a good website that your company uses that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, could you let me know? I am not real picky, but if it generated a lead or two that would also be a nice feature.

Broker?  Do you have agents under you or are you by yourself?

Makes a difference.  I've been using Z57.  Good company, great integrated systems.  IF you're interested - ONLY talk to Scott Carlton.  He really understands what they can do, and how the internet works.  I'm currently getting 3000 visitors a month with 12% capture of email.

BUT, I'm leaving them.  First I have a good understanding of the internet, second I have 40 agents and I'm running into lead distribution problems.  Third, I want MORE flexibilty and design control.  It's my hobby, and I don't sell.  I build the company.

I've tried Myers, iHouse, Point2, and more.  I've had iHomefinder for my IDX, and I'm switching to MLSFinder (like you have) because of lead distribution.  I'm switching to Dakno for my base site (Brad Carroll does a lot of blogging her at AR), but again - I want lots of control (widgets, design elements, flash, ect), and Dakno gives me levels of login authority and agent control.

My 2 cents anyway....

Hi Dennis,

My site is through Alamode . Iv'e had it for a few years now and really like it. It's a 'Self-Build" site, so there is some time to be spent. But, there is also an unlimited amount of things you can do with your site. Their customer service, and recorded webinars are great. I've called them many, many times to be walked through things. Have a look. And if you have time, have a look at my site. I just re-did it, and am looking for some constructive critiques on what does/doesn't work.

Good Luck.

Dennis, I work alone so don't have a suggestion for what you need but do find the discussion interesting.  I will park here and read comments.

When you see flashy, pretty sites that leave you asking, where's the beef it is time to jump ship and head out into new real estate waters. Cookie cutter same ole look sites are a dime a dozen. Cruise the leaders and come up with your own design, what you like about what you have used, what has been lacking. Get your Expression Web and   Joomla  books, watch the video tutorials and jump right in young Jedi Knight Webmaster. Sometimes you have to make your own to have something special and that won't be bought from the creator so that everyone in your local market looks alike again. You want to get ahead of the pack like Lance Armstrong pedalling up a hill. HTML is not brain surgery once you read, study, desire to get it done yourself. Good luck.
