Speechless Sunday? Well, A Day Late!

This was in the lobby of 3303 Water Street in Georgetown. It's made of bright red ropes and is amazingly comfortable.

Yikes. Is it alive. Wait, it's not Sunday? It had better sit good, it's so ugly. LOL

I would call that the spaghetti chair! It doesn't really look comfortable to me, but I will take your word for it!

I was watching this show silent library..and one of the challenges was called "noodle foot" ...that what this chair reminds me of.

A realy interesting design and spaghetti chair is a good description Sharon.

Pat--It looks like hamburger! Weird chair...I would have had to sit in it to see what it was like too!

Hi guys! The chair is actually made of ropes and is a brighter red than it's showing up as here. There is a local artist and past client, Joel D'Orazio, who does this type of this, but I don't think it's one of his. They have two of them in the lobby with a couple of black leather two-seaters, and it looks pretty cool in that context.

Pat, this reminds me of spaghetti or some other noodle. Now, I am hungry.

Pat, I chuckled with the title because I was a day early last week.

I love the color of this chair. Its shape reminds me of the vintage space age chairs from the 70's.

Pat...that has to be the weirdest looking chair I've ever laid eyes on, not sure I would sit in it....too many items could get hung up...LOL

My first thought was that it looked like a pot of spaghetti. I think I would be afraid of getting sauce all over me if I sat in it. :)

Hi Pat, The first thing that came to mind when I looked at that was cousin IT in the Adams Family. I would be afraid that if I sat in it, I would get lost in it. (LOL)

I LOVE Georgetown - didn't see this in Anthropologie (I am mad for that Swedish designer's fabric covering THEIR chairs at $250 a meter) - which gallery? It is so BOHO BE-autiful ! I thought it was spaghetti too - a seat to eat!

Ooooooo. Can I have like three or four of them to go in my living room. Gag me with a spoon. I don't care how comfy they are they are flat out u-g-l-y. Of course, some hoity toity designer thought they were great and spent lots of money to put them on display. Ugh!
