Usually I am a very optimistic guy and I like to think that I look at the glass as half full... Lately things have changed for me. I am not sure why...

Let me ask you a question...

When you are buying something does it seem more expensive to you?

Funny, lately I look at it the other way around....

To me when I am buying something it seems my money has lost half it's value.

How do you look at things?

In these times it's easy to start looking at the glass half empty. However, you must remain optimistic! Keep your head up.

I hope you'll remember me if you learn of anyone moving to "The OC" and I will do the same!

Best regards.

To me, everything seem to be on sale. I only wished I had more money laying around.

Charles,

The truth is, the prices are raised so that when items go on sale, it looks like you are getting a bargain, when in reality you are paying what it is really worth.  Make sense?

I understand what Brigta is saying It is when you go to a department store and find yourself with t shirts maked $28 but they are offering buy one get one free so you are paying only $14 for the T shirt that is really worth $10 but you feel better cause your supposedly saved big $s.

On the other hand cheer up Charles what goes up must come down and will return again.

Yes.  Everything seems more expensive to me.  Probably because I'm watchful of every penny I spend these days.

Charles, Seems like everything is higher priced except for homes these days.  Bought a set of tires the other day for the Tahoe.  Silly me, I thought the price would be down from before due to lack of business.  Au contrare ... it was about double of what I thought we would pay and we shopped it pretty good.  How about restaurants?  Its been subtle, but a simple burger at a sit down restaurant has crept up at least a third from a couple of years ago ... or so it seems.
