Life By Design Is Not As Hard As It Looks.

Does life throw detours and bumps in the road in front of us often? Sure. Can there be some limitations we have to work through like health and finances? Of course.

But the biggest limitation to embracing the abundance that is right there for our taking is: OUR MIND!

Do not think small.

Whiteboard PlanPretty much getting anywhere with your life design involves a plan. Get out a clean sheet of paper. Or go to a blank whiteboard and start sketching out the details of where you are now and where you would like to go.

Is a plan ever perfect? No. But you need to keep revisiting a plan to make sure it is the plan you want to follow. Often on our journeys our thoughts change if we even like that plan anymore.

But you will never feel that abundance unless you put in the work to get yourself out on that road.

With a plan it is not as hard as it looks. Saving for retirement, buying that next home, making a sound investment, opening up more time in your schedule for what you value most.

In order to sail that ship anywhere, first off you need a map and a compass, then the WILL to start heading that direction. Remember, you deserve ABUNDANCE!

WE make life a simple or as complicated as we want it.  We just need to plan accordingly

Gary -Even with the best laid out direction, we may fall off the path and need to keep adjusting those sails to stay the course to the final destination.

I have listened to many top producers say that the key to success is to draw up a business plan and that it should take 2-3 1/2 days to do it properly. I've been working on mine for 2 weeks now. lol

I need to get back to the daily picture.  I have the global picture but the daily picture is really escaping me these days.

Hi Gary,

A business plan is a must! Without it you can't measure your success and enjoy the abundance!! The daily plan is an integral part of the whole picture. Thanks for the reminder.

Gary!  I am actually writing a book to this effect. Would love to connect with you so I can sort of interview you or pick your brain. You have an understanding of my challenges and how overcoming them was not easy but all possible with faith and a positive mindset.  Having a plan is definitely a step that cannot be skipped if you want to be an achiever. Why haven't we talked on the phone yet?

Expect the bumps....They are unavoidable. Learn from them and go on.

Another great post.  Thanks.

I think the problem that most people have with fulfilling dreams is implementation. They can come up with an idea easily enough, even put together a step-by-step plan to achieve that goal but for some reason they fail to act. Perhaps that reason is fear of failure. I say if you never fail, you will never succeed. Failing is a step toward success.

I agree, you need a plan, and you need to ignore the bumps in the road and keep going.  A Plane flying from Sacramento to Hawaii is off course 90 percent of the time.  It gets where it is going because it has a plan, and when it gets pushed off course, it adjusts.

Bring on abundance!

I plan for both business and finance, once those hurdles are out of the way, I just let life fall in place.

Gary-Where have I seen those three words recently. HMMMM!!! Love that view! Is it is FIJI and they are serving fruity drinks poolside. Love this paragraph. But the biggest limitation to embracing the abundance that is right there for our taking is: OUR MIND!  SO TRUE!!!!

Hi Gary, I love the great vacation get-away picture.  We must have a plan, and as you mention, we must visit and revisit that plan, and continue tweaking it to be sure it is still relevant to where we are, or where we should be headed in our lives.

I've been very blessed and I am a firm believer in everything working out in my favor...it's a mindset that my husband and I share.  We seem to come out on top of every situation.  You are so right...we do deserve abundance!

In "The Millionaire Real Estate Agent" Gary Keller tells his readers to THINK BIG...... or go home....

If you think BIG at least you will do MORE than you thought you could accomplish......

Think small and you hit NOTHING larger than you thouight you could handle.... and you do not benifit..

Gary - I may know where I want to go... but sometimes we all need a roadmap and need to ask for directions to get there on time.  Plans can't be rigid... roads are under constructions... detours are likely... It is called life and she can be very unpredictable.

Gary, In the FS world we ask out clients to write things down...dreams become realities.  If this post isn't about energy and visualization, I don't know what is---THANK YOU!
