Thank You!

Thank you for ordering the REALTOR.com® Featured Agent/Community/Company Marketing System. This message is to confirm that a service request was submitted on your behalf to our preferred creative services vendor - customcreatives.com ..

Here's how it works:
A representative from Custom Creatives will contact you within one business day to discuss your ad requirements and to start the process of building your new ads. This process takes just five easy steps:

  1. Consultation Call - A Custom Creatives representative will contact you to discuss the ad's details-layout, content, images, and the like. Previous ideas that you've used to market your services would be helpful as well. Having trouble coming up with ideas? Visit http://creative.theenterprise.com to review some sample ads.
  2. Asset Transfer - You'll need to provide Custom Creatives with all the necessary assets discussed in your consultation call (i.e. logos, stock images, agent/team photos).
  3. Design - Once Custom Creatives receives all the necessary content and images to begin your ads, your order will be submitted into a design queue and completed within 5-7 business days.
  4. Approval - Custom Creatives will send the completed proofs to you via e-mail. After you review, they will contact you to discuss the design and complete any modifications, should there be any.
  5. Upload - Once you give Custom Creatives final approval on your designs, they will submit the ads on your behalf to be loaded onto REALTOR.com®.

How long will this take?
Not long. For most, it should take one week, from concept to completion. But your availability and preparation does determine how quickly your custom ads will be live on REALTOR.com®. So make sure you start thinking about the message you want in your ad such as:

  • Find out what your home is worth - get a FREE report now
  • Get the latest list of homes for sale in your area
  • See my (community name) listings and more
  • What are the local market conditions? Get the free report now
  • Let me help you get your asking price
  • Need a master negotiator?

We're looking forward to working with you to create an ad that will take your online advertising to the next level.

I am just wondering how many on ActiveRain have did the banner ads lately and if they went with the top banner or did the double banners and how are they doing with those to lead to calls for anyone.

I've never used the banner ads on Realtor.com.  Let me know how it works for you, if you decide to use this advertising feature.

Realtor.com isn't what it used to be and banner ads are pretty well played out on the net in general I think.  There may be other lead generators that will work, but I'm not sure banner ads will...

Let us know how it goes though.  Are you linking to a good strong capture page on your site?

Brandon,

One of our top customers had the top and side banners on Realtor.com for a year, and she did NOT renew. They were incredibly expensive for her area, and she didn't generate much (if any) return. Geeze, I hope it wasn't the design as we did both. Yikes!!

By the way...none of the banner ads for her area renewed (they allow up to 10 per area.) BUT...today's market is different, and perhaps if you got it at a decent price, the returns will be better?

Good luck!!

Dave
