Windermere Southland - Utah Group Photo

Windermere Real Estate Southland plans a Community Service Day every year. Every agent in the office donates an amount from every transaction to this special day.

Friday, June 19, 2009 was the Annual Windermere Real Estate Southland Community Service Day‏ in southern Utah. We all met there at 7:00 am ready to get to work. Pictured here are Windermere Real Estate Southland agents: Don Fraser, Tammy Houchen, Wanda Kubat-Nerdin, Kathryn Needham and owner, Mike Davis. The Dixie Care & Share Center is a 501(c)(3) charity that houses and feeds thousands of people each year.

They help those who need an occasional shelter over their heads, and those who need a helping hand. Many people are in this position due to extreme changes in their lifestyles.  

Windermere Southland Real Estate agents, Axiom Financial employees, Inwest Title employees and Sherwin Williams Paint Store came together to paint 2 outbuildings and put down gravel to spruce the place up! It looked fantastic after we finished the touch-up work!

Brad Hall Hucking Gravel

 

 

 

Brad brought a Bobcat to move the gravel to the desired location...we'd still be there if we had to do it with wheelbarrows and shovels! Thank you Brad!

 

 

 

 

We were all tired, hot, sweaty and dusty by the time the painting and gravel work was finished but we can agree that we felt really good about the fact that we made a difference in the lives of people who live at the Dixie Care and Share in St. George, Utah! I am so very glad to be a part of such a spirited group of people who believe in giving and actually doing it too!

That is a wonderful way to help your community and I applaud you and your entire office.  If we had more people doing these projects we would have a lot less government intrusion into our lives.  Thanks for sharing that.
