Elf Lane, Red Feather Lakes Colorado

By
Real Estate Agent with United Country Ponderosa Realty, Red Feather Lakes, Colorado

Within the quaint Village of Red Feather Lakes there is a road that, when first traveled,

 will surprise and delight you.

The Villagers have named it Elf Lane.

You have to drive very slowly, and you will see the magic hidden within the trees.

The property on each side of the road is private property, yet somehow, the elves and gnomes and other creatures of the forest appear in spite of the no trespassing signs posted on the trees.  There is something very enchanting about Elf Lane.

Hi, Mary. That's not the same elf from The Amazing Race, is it? A Travelocity icon, I believe.

Hi Melissa,  I don't think there are any elf actors hanging around in the rocks and trees, but maybe he's a cousin or something ! LOL!

What? No giant butterflies?  I KNOW you have them up north, because they are all over the mountain towns, big, 3-D plywood butterflies stuck on the fronts of houses...maybe elf helpers are reading this and will find a few to attach to trees...

Hi Mary....This is too cute.  I'm surprised that others haven't started placing the "Little Ones" all over the woods.  We had an epidemic in Florida several years ago, where someone (in the night) would place those plastic flamingos all over peoples yards.  It was pretty funny.  I like Elf Lane :-)

Hi Cheryl, I didn't see one giant plywood butterfly .... I don't think they've migrated this far yet! HAHAHA!!

Hi Gail, I think "they" might be up to some hijinx...because more and more appear. Too funny about the plastic flamingos-- one even made it to Elf Lane :-)

Hi Ann, I don't think there are cameras in the elves..but if there are, they are probably capturing several smiling faces. lol!

Hi Debra, you would love Elf Lane if you saw it!  I think it is missing some fairies...but they might be hiding too, you never know!  :-)

Hi Cynthia, I agree with you I think Elf Lane is just the epitome of light hearted fun!  I took our grandkids for a drive down Elf Lane yesterday and they were nearly shrieking with delight!

Thank you everyone, I appreciate your comments on Elf Lane - sorry it took me awhile to get back.
