Basic model is $18.40. We are running a trade-up program. If you have other brand of used / unused lockbox, you can send it in and trade it up with NuSet to get a brand new lockbox. The trade up value up to $9.00.

I have seen these boxes; do they require the code to be put back in when putting the key back in box if they do I don't like them?

I only use Supra's Electronic lockbox's. but I do see a rapid increase in combo lockboxes now with the spikes in inventories because agents/companies are running out of the top of the line Supra's and are not willing to spend the money to get the mac daddly

Our MLS requires us to use Supra iBoxes...besides, I like being able to see who has accessed a box and when in case anything ever happens at a property. I had a sliding glass door left open. Thank goodness there was no damage, because it was left WIDE open. However, because I could log in and see who accessed the box, I could make a polite phone call reminding the agent to make sure the property is secure in the event they show it again.

From the desk of David Dee,

Supra lockboxes are the best as far as security is concerned. However, I have seen these Nu-set locks in homes I have showned and they are probably one of the better non Supra lockboxes out there since there is a key to lock the side up. This presents 'unscrupulous agents' from changing the combo code.

I have bookmarked and added to my favorites. You seem to have a great door lockset also and do use those from time to time.

Thank you for the information. We are required by our mls to use the iboxes, however, we always have a combo on our REOs as required by the asset company. Even if it is not an reo it is a good idea to have a combo on there for out of area agents or contactors etc. One just has to make sure the person using the combo is allowed to access the home as permitted by the seller.

I used one of these locks last week on a REO property. It was excellent! Kathy Opatka

Our MLS requires us to use Supra Keys.  I can see where a lock box might come in handy on occasion.  I get mad when I show up and it is a combo box and the combo was not on the MLS.

I really had to come back to this post and add something.  I understand AR needs to make money and to that end we will get some post that are little better than advertising.  And I at least listen to the advertisers here as they are footing the bill, but when you do an ad, try to not make it sound like an ad.

Give us a snappy title.  Maybe "Don't be locked out of a potential sale."  Then give us a story about how having your lock box helped someone.  Make it personal and a little entertaining.  It personalizes your product and you.  You cannot just post once.  Post at least several times a week.  You don't even always have to post on your product.  Build a relationship with us, don't just sell us.  You may not even get the orders from AR, but I have seen your boxes about and when I need one it may be the one I grab retail if I have a reason to choose you over the competitor

I look forward to reviewing the website information on the product and giving it a try.

NuSet Lockbox is more secure than other combination locklockes. It does not need a code to put back the lid.

How can your lockbox be more secure than another lockbox?  Please elaborate.

I do not believe in having a combo lock box on a home for sale. All it takes is one to give the combo to another and then who knows who all has access to the property. No way of tracking who opened the lockbox.... Sorry just my 2 cents

I personally find it frustrating to visit a website with no prices. I have clicked through several pages looking for pricing or how to order. I think you'll lose buyers by not making it easy to purchase.

The lockboxes are more secure because other agents cannot readily "borrow" them.  I used to lose lockboxes all  the time, especially on foreclosure listings.  Once the agents figure out who the bank is they can easily figure out what the code is on the lockbox.  For instance many Ocwen listings use OCN.   With the addition of the top code on the box I was less likely to have the box "borrowed."  You have to have the key to remove the lockbox and  the top code to unshackle it.

We use some of these on REO listings but regular listings get Sentrilocks, much safer, although I have heard the electronics have failed once in a while and they are a whatsit to fix. Cheaper than Ibox and 6 out of 7 boards here dropped Supra in favor of Sentrilcok which does provide the 1 day code ability I love.

I never received an answer to my above question to your claim that they are more secure?  Compared to what?  How was the study conducted?  Have 3rd-party and independent experts evaluated your claims that they are more secure?  Seems like the pricing is good @ < 20.

Sorry, but I have seen too many agents either treat combinations carelessly or outright give them to customers, workers, etc. I seldom use combo lockboxes anymore. Just too much liability due to the the unprofessionallism of a few bad apples. I just annot take the chance of getting into legal trouble with my sellers. I wish I could use them since they are a cheaper investment. I know lots of friends tha do though.

Just one word of advice. This does not appear to be a Members Only post and if I read an above comment correctly, a common code for one company was given out. I would watch that very carefully. If someone in the public sees it, there could be trouble. I have been given that exact code several times. I do not think it wise to mention any real combinations online like this. Better to say  "Combo ****", etc. My 2 cents worth.

I use these for my REO listings, although someone did take one of them off of one of my listings last week. Still have'nt figured that out.

But I use the Supra Boxes for my occupied listings.

We use both supras and combos. We use combos on many of our of the area listings and on REOs and Vacant short sales. We don't use them on owner occupied properties. Many of our sellers have a punch code entry system which works really well because the seller can change the code hourly, daily, whatever. We use the combos more in areas where we have heavy outside of our area agents showing properties that are not members of our board and may not have a supra key.

Carol- are you saying you need a key to get these ones off? If that is the case, I am very interested in buying these ones instead of the ones we have been buying.

We don't use lockboxes here in Manhattan, something that might be an alien idea to the rest of the country.  Essentially I am the lockbox, if you want in you have to go through me.

Good info on these products. Our area has the Supra ones.

SUPRA has a strangle hold on us realtors, they have no competition, and there customer service is terrible.   It is not fair to say we have to use a certian lock box, it should be up to the client, not the MLS or board.
