No one knows for sure, but most experts have predi cted that the tumble is mostly over, and with mortgage rates low (and much more likely to rise than fall in the near future), there may not be a better time to buy! Most buyers should concentrate on their monthly payment (which includes principal, interest, escrow, taxes), and an increase in mortgage rate increases this monthly payment far more than a slight price increase!
Qualified buyers are now in the driver's seat, and should seriously consider taking advantage of that fact, and acting soon! Find a house that you like, with the features that you want, and negotiate in earnest. You are probably making one of the most important decisions of your lifetime.
