Morris Cove also known as the East Shore is the neighborhood I call home and is tucked away along the eaastern portion of the New Haven Harbor in New Haven Connecticut.
I have lived in Morris Cove for most of my life and its beauty is reflected in its shoreline appeal. No matter where you live in Morris Cove you can always feel the cool ocean breeze from the Pardee Seawall, Fort Hale Park and take in the breathtaking views of Long Island Sound.
Morris Cove is a beautiful community of well kept homes that you'll find along the tree line streets and beachfront coves. It is literally minutes away from downtown New Haven, highways, shopping and Tweed New Haven Airport.
So pull up a seat and join me while I take you on a tour of this wonderful neighborhood.

Congratulations, Donna! You did a great job on that video and I'm sure it's something you'll use over and over in your business, especially with relocation buyers.
Donna - I am still at the "I'm not sure I can do it" stage of working with video. But, your video post honestly has given me some motivation to just get out there and do it. Nice video...
Donna, you found a window of opportunity despite all this lovely weather! I have spent time in New Haven only at the hospital, and never realized how wonderful it is there. So, I will be there quite a bit over the next few weeks and will have to spend some time de-stressing looking at the ocean! Maybe you can tell me the best place to go from Yale NH Hospital?
Great job! I was planning to do one too, but all this stuff happening, just won't work. Good for you!
Donna, Morris Cove is your little bit of heaven....and just a short ferry ride from MY little piece of heaven! Very similar areas and they are beautiful.
Donna--What a wonderful job you've done! Don't you just love your camera?! You need to post this on all of your sites for your prospective clients to see.
Donna great job on the video!!! You must have taken this during one of the few dry spots that we have had, but those clouds look like they were ready to unload.
And for Andrea, I don't know about where to go to de-stress, but you have to go to Pepi's or Sally's for pizza. :) :)
Margaret - With Yale University, Yale New Haven Hospital and other large companies in the New Haven area Morris Cove is a great neighborhood only minutes away from major highways and downtown.
Ryan - You can do anything!!! :) If I can figure this out, anybody can and they are so much fun to do!
Wanda - You're so welcome! Once you live here it's hard to move away. I tried it twice and just had to come back "home!"
Andrea - I had planned on going out earlier last week when the sun was actually shining but got sidetracked and scrambled to get this video done with the looming clouds on the horizon. You should give me a call when you're going to be down here at YNH. We can do lunch and I can show you some places you can go to to de-stress.
Carole - You can say that again! :) My husband rode over to Long Island and the Port Jefferson area alot when he had his boat. I visited by car. :) It is very beautiful too and I miss not having the chance to visit more often.
Debe - I just LOVE my flip video. I can't tell you how much fun I had riding all around Morris Cove taking videos of all of my favorite spots. My only problem was when I tried to stitch them all together. I must have a glitch either in my camera or the software and had to improvise and use another program to get this video finished. I'm trying to get it posted wherever I can to show off my "home".
Katerina - I love the shoreline and being so close to the water. I tried living in a more "country" setting but it just wasn't my style.
George - Those clouds really had be going and I thought I would really get caught in a downpour. I've got Andrea covered so she'll know all the great spots to get de-stressed. :)
Lourdes - I just looked out my window.....was that you I saw waving from the Long Island shores? :)
Donna, I have to say that you did a wonderful job with this video. I'm not even sure which I'm impressed with more... the actual video or the fact that you found time in between all this rain to shoot it.
Suesan - I'll take both as highly appreciated compliments. I prayed real hard one that the video would come out and two that I'd be able to find just a teeny tiny window with no rain. :) I'm so happy that it worked out on both accounts. :)
