Here is my entry for the ActiveRain Localism Video Contest.

I spent the last month going everywhere with my video camera.  It was long ago I stopped feeling self conscious with camera equipment in public, so this was pretty easy for me.  My kids got a bit tired of me stopping to get footage everywhere we went, but they got over it.  Going to cool places like Carowinds, the National White Water Center, The Taste of Charlotte, Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens, boating on the lake, and many other cool Charlotte tourist places made the whole thing worthwhile for them. 

Anyway, hope you enjoy the final product!

The winner also thinks that your professional level blew her 1st ever video away, so I understand John's viewpoint. I'm glad I wasn't on the panel of judges...
