Jim - Looks like prices are improving. Unfortunately, the exchange rate between the Canadian dollar and US dollar has gotten worse over the past year to partially offset the decreasing Florida prices in USD.
If only the higher property taxes charged to non-Florida residents could reduced, you might get even more buyers.
Marc-Yes, the Canadian's are not visiting and buying as much because of the exchange rate.
Gabe-Glad to hear Stuart, FL. has an uptick in median sales prices. I'm hoping Naples, FL. gets through the foreclosures and short sales so we can too!
As a residence of Florida, it is sad as someone who may have something to sell, but if I ever was in the market for something new I certainly couldn't be happier with the present prices.
