Shells on the beach at Boca Grande

While sitting outside the condo in Boca Grande, FL over the Memorial Day weekend, I found the greatest shells and a sea urchin for my collection.  This photo, now my desktop background, makes me relaxed and happy.  It's sooooo hot out, I wish I was there now.

I have a few of the seaurchin shells, I still remember the first one I found while snorkeling back in the 80s.... Dang things are delicate, never made it home :)

Looking good.  Find a few sand dollars next time too.  That's a great place to kick back and relax.

Debbie Too funny, I almost posted a similar shot but at the last minute decided on the seagull.  Spending time by the water can be so refreshing.

Hi Debbie,

Sorry to hear it is so hot there.  It's just another cloudy early summer morning here in the Pacific Northwest!

Hi Debbie,

I love the detail in your photo! It reminds me of the days at the tide pools with my kids! The tide pools used to keep them busy for hours!

Thank You for sharing it with us!

Debbie - you have been absent!  I hope you're very busy with work and not laid up with a sore paw!

Debbie - I have never seen a sea urchin.  Thanks for sharing.  Try to stay cool.  It's also in the 90s here in New York.

Hi Debbie:

Great shot!

As with Rosalinda, I've never actually seen a sea urchin either.

Very HOT in NJ also!
