Grand Canyon - North Rim

We have brought our family many times to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and each time come, we see it differently. The north rim of the Grand Canyon rises about 1,200 feet higher that the south rim. The highest points on the rim are about 9,000 feet above sea level. The Colorado River runs through the canyon below.

There is hiking, biking & camping, mule trips, train rides, river trips, everything necessary to make a memorable trip!

Wanda,

I think that everyone 'should see the Grand Canyon before they die'.  It is such a unique and vast feature.  Have you ever been to Tuweep?  I'm pretty sure it has the highest sheer drop in the park-truly breathtaking.  And if you like camping (tent), it is definitely worth the trip there to see the stars at night.
