Wordy Wednesday...One Title Man's Wish List...!!!

We live in a world that supports and votes for a candidate that espouses CHANGE...even change that is unspecified and intolerable at times...

Fact is, as a society, we are just never satisfied with the status quo...the grass always looks greener on the other side of the fence...

Soooo...in keeping with the 'American Way'...I too felt it necessary to develop a list of things with which I am dissatisfied, in the hope that someone somewhere will bring about CHANGE...

In fact, in keeping with our 'Wordless Wednesday' theme, I'll keep the list short.......

***I would like to see peace everywhere in the world

***I would like to see an end to abortion

***I would like to see prosperity for everyone

***I would like to see people helping people instead of full scale selfishness

***I would like to see all politicians, no matter what party affiliation, speak the truth

There you have it...!!!

You know...on second thought, maybe I'll accept things just the way they are and give thanks to God for the green grass he places in my life right here, right now...!!!

Now, as far as the greener grass thing; having THOUGHT it might be greener, once or twice in my lifetime of mistakes and mishaps, I humbly say, IT AIN'T SO!

Now my question would be, "What are you doing in your own life to help society reach the goals on your wish list?" For example, I write my crooked politicians the first Saturday of each month to tell them my opinions and to offer my solution. Sometimes I get responses, sometimes I don't. I never write the honest politicians because there are none.

As far as peace is concerned, here is a bumper sticker I saw the other day:

Love of Power or Power of Love?

Of course, the two entities that specialize in the lover of power are religion and governments. Consequently, we'll never see world peace.

Fran I was reading your blog thinking how good it was and about to agree with you and then I scrolled down to the pictures. And I am still laughing . Great post thanks

Russel: Since man is not the author of peace, he cannot bring it about...so I find myself praying a lot to the Prince of Peace, since I realize that man's attempts to bring it (peace) about have been futile...!!! Try it, my friend...!!!

I really hope you get your wish on one of these! We have a case here where a mother 8 1/2 month pregnant was killed for her baby, the baby ended up dying, but because they couldn't prove the baby took a breath, they are only charging the person with the mothers death! THIS IS SO WRONG!
