Painting the paneling Part 4 "Before and After's" of rooms that WERE.

Home Stager with LG Home Harmony - Home Stagers & Organizers

This is the finale of the painted house ...

If you recall the dinning table ... (for lack of a better vision) was placed right in the middle of a traffic zone which is the central part of the home ... Home Harmony decided we would to turn the existing TV room into the dinning room ... a logical place considering it's just off the kitchen ... see what you think. Still can't believe what a little paint can do.

BEFORE & AFTER ... too bad we couldn't have removed the carpet ... in any case it still looks fresher.

Using what we could find in the cupboards ... There weren't 4 of anything that matched ... so we decided to set the table as if company were about to embark on their final course dessert!  Same is true with finding items to stage the built In's ... Silver and fine glassware added the finishing touch to this now "French Provincial" country style home. Home Staging, Home Harmony Style = Magic with little for nothing to work with. The owner was very surprised when he entered the room ... actually thought about inviting guests in!

The Master room was very darkand very dated ... we painted the paneling, flipped the bedspread, removed the old dresser and mirror ... and...for lack of art we decided to use the ship art to the room ... not quite the look we were going for but it is a home on the water ;o)

It just takes the gloom out of the room when the paneling is painted.  Great job.

I agree with Chrissie, it definitely took the gloom out of the room. As it is a home on the water, the white walls etc. and the ship art work. When there is little to work with, you do what you gotta do!

I loved the bedroom walls before the painting.  Cozy and warm.  I'm spending tons to re-discover the wood in my newly purchased home from the previous owners paint job.  Makes my heart breaks when I see such richness covered up.  With that being said, I'm glad you're happy with it.  It is YOUR home and you should have it the way you want it.
