1. Yes. We have a Regional MLS and it has its own corporation and BOD (which I sit on)
1a. Our REALTOR Association (one of 3 who share the MLS) has its own Board as do the other two.
2. Agents, Brokers AND our Association's Board has Affiliates too - as long as they are "REALTOR-Associate members" of our Association. We've had appraisers, escrow officers and loan professionals on our board as well as agents and brokers.
3. The Board makes decisions on whether a particular issue warrants bringing that issue to the membership for a vote; then the membership votes.
