Okay, so my singing is bad...... Well, my lucky number is 3...... and this is the third time that I have been meme'd. And some of you that are still new to Active Rain are wondering, What is a meme? It sounds kind of weird. Don't worry, it's not the character on your right. That is slimer from The Ghostbusters.

But getting back to what a meme is...Jay & Francy Thompson wrote this : For those of you that don’t know what a meme is: It’s a thought stream carried from one person to another, or, to be more precise, a “unit of cultural information transferable from one mind to the other,” so says Wikipedia. Basically, it’s the blogging equivalent of a chain letter. The cool thing about blogging is that the meme can be tracked. Entire websites are devoted to doing just that.

Why am I writing this? I was just meme'd by both Lisa Hill (I'VE BEEN MEME'D) & Kim Shekerlian (All About ME~ME!)

Okay, so you want to know 5 more things about Me? Jeff Belonger??? Okay, just one more time.

1. Well, this should be funny.... I hated writing as I grew up. From grade school, to middle school, all through high school, and even college. I was usually late on my reports, book reports, etc etc. If you told any of my teachers or professors that I have written 168 blogs since October 5th of 2006, they would think that you were ... well, loco would be a kind word. But it's amazing how much that I have enjoyed writing ever since I was introduced to this all because of Brian Brady and Nima Rezvan.

2. I just soooooo love sports. If I had a 2nd or 3rd calling in life, it would be to work for ESPN. And my favorite sport is pro-football, the NFL. And my favorite football team is the Philadelphia Eagles.

College Basketball.......My favorite team is the University of Louisville Cardinals.

3. I know have mentioned this in at least 1 of the 2 meme's that I have done. But I truly love what I do. That is helping people with their finances. May it be buying a new home or refinancing their current mortgage. Do I love the easy client... the easy loan, sure, I won't lie. But what I love most is helping that person that has been turned down by several lenders. That I am able to allow my creative juices flow. I also love using my knowledge to where I would offer a client another solution that maybe another lender would never have thought of. I pride myself in this.

4. As several of you know, I was in the US Army for 2 years. Overall, I just have a soft spot for all those that served in the Armed forces. Especially those that have given up their lives for us to live our lives so freely.

But one thing that I will do when anything happens in the United States that has affected families, friends, etc etc..... I will be glued to the TV for days and sometimes weeks, just watching the news and any updates. Just 1 1/2 months ago, when Virginia Tech was in the World News, I was up for days. Just the same when 911 happened.

5. Are we almost done yet? I love anything near water. May it be a restaurant, a bar, a beach house, etc etc. I love driving through the Florida Keys. I have had the pleasure of driving from Key West to Miami in the morning when it was still dark. And several other times during the daylight. What an awesome site, just driving over water for 2 1/2 hours.

Gotta love it!! The FL keys are beautiful...do you love the drove down Alligator Alley with all the critters "on the side of the road" too? That's not a view you get in NJ!! ***You've got my utmost respect for your passion for our country! I too was GLUED to the tv when 911 hit...and again when Virginai Tech was struck just recently. Eveline...... thanks for the comments and for stopping by. In regards to attacks on US soil and such.... yes, I am up for days and weeks.... just glued to the TV.

Lisa..... I don't think it has much to do with being a good sport. I actually enjoy stuff like this.

In regards to the Keys.... 3 times, hopefully a 4th come this fall or end of the summer.

Ines..... Oye, es mi español que habla a compañero. Yes, again.... but as I told Lisa... I don't mind this. If I get meme'd a 4th time, I can think off one thing off hand... 4 more things might start to get tough, unless we get into the bad things that I did in HS and college... ;o)

Meme'd! Me?

Wow, I am still a baby when it comes to this blogging stuff and now I've been meme'd! Well here goes....

1. I am married with three kids ages 4, 8, & 19. Yes 19!!! So you know you have to kiss a few toads before you find your prince and my first husband was a TOAD!!! But I was blessed when my daugheter, Brittney, was born. She is my angel and I love watching her make some of life's tougher decisions now that she is in the grown up world! I remarried and had two wonderful sons, Chandler & Ethan. What a whole new experience. Boys are so much fun!!!

2. I've had my realtors license for about 2.5 years and wish I had gotten it years ago. Originally I got it to get into investment real estate, but that didn't pan out so I started being a Realtor and I LOVE it!!! Nothing brings me more joy then to help a client reach their dream of home ownership. I've also had to help a couple clients facing foreclosure, which was no fun, but they were able to sell rather then lose their homes, for which they were grateful.

3. I tried my hand at a fix-n-flip purchased at the auction and let's just say we learned the hard way when it comes to business trust no one!!! I'd love to do it again, now that I know what not to do.

4. I love to read and camp. We camp about every other weekend in the summer but recently bought a tent trailer and my husband said "now we can camp all year!". Not me, not in WA where it rains all winter! I am very much a fair weather camper! When I get wrapped up in a good book my family knows I've checked out for a few hours.....or days!

5. I love to travel! I've been to Jamaica and absolutely loved it! My favorite place in the states is San Diego, just might have to move there one day. I recently made a 15 year travel plan (yes I know it's crazy!) to some amazing places. Can't wait!!!!

Sandy.... thanks for sharing this,.... a 15 year travel plan? Wow, I would love to see this. And I am glad that you love real estate. Not everyone loves their job....

1. While growing up during the ages of 4-10 I lived at the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan. If you see any of the movies that were filmed there: Crocodile Dundee, Arthur, Home Alone....we occupied the 2nd floor, right next to/above the flags and around the corner. Room service was yummy.

2. While living in Chicago, Illinois, became very good friends with John Paxson, now VP of the Chicago Bulls. I attended games with his wife, went to brunches together, hung out at his home--one of the nicest athletes I have ever met.

3. At age 5 maybe--I was on Carnegie Hall stage. There was a lady by the name of Anna Russell. I was lucky enough to go on stage and give her a bouquet of flowers; a very neat experience.

4. I'm a pro wrestling fan. I've had the pleasure of meeting: Hulk Hogan, Jesse Ventura, Captain Lou Albano, and perhaps my favorite memory--meeting Andre the Giant and seeing that his hand was bigger than the size of my head!

5. I have always been an entrepeneur. While living in Manhattan, I would sell recipes, and other little things in Central Park or in front of the Plaza. In Chicago, I would get stuff from the hotel's mini-bars and sell them at school. I also dog and house sat. I've always been up to something!

Okay here it is 5 things about me:

1. I LOVE to travel! I take trips all the time and enjoy going everywhere and anywhere!

2. I lived with a family for 3 years while was in college and nannied for them. I cooked, cleaned, did laundry, homework with the children, and I attended school full time..busy!

3. I have ridden horses since I was 2 years old. I used to do barrel racing across the Midwest when I was in my mid-teens.

4. My favorite food is ice cream. I LOVE IT!

5. Lastly, but not least, about my family. I am the oldest of three girls. I was born and raised in Iowa. I have been married for almost 1 year, but we were dating for over 6 years prior to marriage. And, I have no children at this time.
